Mayfair Truffle Mercy Dash
We knew white truffles were thin on the ground this year but even so we were rather surprised to get a call from Corrigan Mayfair who was pointed in our direction by Jay Rayner via Twitter. Turns out that there are a few Alba truffles in London but they’re nearly twice the price of ours (those London boys eh?).
As we were heading up to Covent Garden that evening we decided to drop them in ourselves. A little bit off our normal delivery routes admittedly but we have the fondest memories of Richard Corrigan and his wonderful food dating right back to the Fulham Road days when he got his first star. Back in the day we even enjoyed an evening or two out with Richard, happy if rather blurry memories.

Micro Leaves
Our friends at Westland WOW tell us there are currently limited supplies of red amaranth due to low tempratures and, more importantly, lower light levels. Of course they are rising to the challenge and you can read more in their seasonal update here
Sam Moody's Mushroom Forage
